Hey there everybody!
So, I know I have been a bit MIA for the last few weeks. Some people may not have even noticed while others have written me to make sure everything is okay. First, of all, yes everybody is “okay.” We are all alive. I would love to share with you guys some stuff that is going on to give you a better understanding of why I have been missing lately.
- Maverick: We had a son about 5 weeks ago. He is perfect and excellent and we love him SO much! However, adding this extra little person has certainly made life a little more difficult. I have one more person to take care of. I have three boys and my oldest is a little bit over 3 1/2. So we have our hands full and yes we get told that often. haha. Yes, we planned to have them this close together. 🙂 I have been potty training my oldest for about a year and after spending 2 weeks changing three kid’s diapers I was DONE. So I put potty training into overdrive and my son is successfully potty trained and it is AWESOME!
- TMJ: Last year I woke up one morning to my jaw being locked. It happened a couple of times before, but it would only last a few hours. This time it never went away. My jaw has been locked and my opening is more than half of what it should be and I am in TONS of pain all the time. The past couple of weeks the pain has become SO much worse and it’s hard to eat, laugh, cough, talk or even yawn. For the past year I have been wearing a very expensive mouth appliance and also I have done physical therapy to get it better and yet nothing has help. The last couple of weeks I have been in contact with an oral surgeon and I had to do an MRI. The results came back where both of my jaw discs were dislocated.
- My mommy: Last week my mommy went ice skating with the young women in her church. She slipped and fell backwards and landed on both of her arms. My mommy ended up breaking her wrist and her arm on her right side and then she broke her wrist on her left arm. She has two large casts that make it so she can’t even bend her elbows. She can’t even feed herself. I have spent everyday over there so that I can feed her, help clean and do things around the home. OF course, I am not as helpful as I could be due to the fact that I have three boys who come with me. While over there and I was nursing my youngest my son found a permanent marker and drew ALL over my mom’s home. I felt So bad and now I have to go and paint my moms walls because we couldn’t get the marker off. My mommy will be in casts for about three months and she has surgery on her right arm this Friday.
It has been quite crazy over here. It is funny because a few months ago I really wanted to start searching for homes in January so we could move. However, that is obviously not going to be happening for awhile. We have a lot of medical bills coming up here soon AND I will have a surgery to recover from.
I hope to get back to writing on a consistent basis here soon! Thank you for your patience, love and support!
