Valentines Gifts For Her
So Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years and come and gone. I was just discussing how the hardest time of the year is January through April because nothing really happens and the weather is so sad! The only part about this time of year that makes me happy is Valentines Day. I know that it is kind of a tacky and cliche holiday that requires “obligation gifts.” I am a very easy gift giver. Husband gets me flowers and chocolate and that is all I need, but wouldn’t it be nice if the husband didn’t just consider the gift as an obligation, but as a gift that could allow for hubby to really show how much he cares! Here are 11 valentine gift ideas for her!
Hey HUSBANDS! I am talking to YOU here! Do your really want to sweep her off her feet by giving her a gift that really shows how much you car? Well…I would love to share with you some gifts that would make me super happy and I would like to help you out so that you don’t have to wonder what will make her happy!
I made this for my husband when we were dating! It was really easy (and cheap), but I felt like it was a great way to show all of the things that I truly admired about him.
This LOVE one is super cute and really wouldn’t be that expensive, but it would really show her that you care about her! This craft makes such a great gift. You may not think that this gift is “your type of gift” but that’s why this would be such a great gift, because she would NEVER expect it!
This is so stinken cute! How many of you guys have seen the movie “Up”? I would say that most people know what this book is! How cute would it be if you recreated this book, but with YOUR story?!
I love this idea of creating a date jar! Have you ever looked at your spouse when you FINALLY have a date night and you say, “so what do you want to do?” And then you end up going to a movie or dinner? Derek and I can never do both, so we have to choose! Well, doing the same thing for date night can turn your relationship into a slump and “boring” so why not liven it up. Write down 50 date ideas for the year (you probably won’t use all of them unless you are lucky) but you could do something different each and every time you want to have a date! How fun is that!
You can follow the link above to give you some awesome ideas!
Yes, a lot of women don’t actually like flowers, because they think that it is the “easy way out!” Well, I LOVE flowers, but if you wanted to bypass this you could also print out these cute bouquet wrappers to wrap around your beautiful flowers to show how much you care!
Who doesn’t like cake? Is there people who actually don’t like cake? LOOK how cute this cake is! And you would get super awesome props by using pink frosting and pink sprinkles! This look like a cake that even I could make! And I can’t even make chocolate chip cookies!
Okay, yes, a lot of these gifts have to do with candy, chocolate and food! What can say “I love you” better then food? I love this little candy bouquet. Please don’t make the mistake of putting a “Happy Birthday” balloon in her Valentines Bouquet (unless it’s actually her birthday of course haha).
Yup here is candy again! Look how tasty AND how cute this is! I think this would actually be pretty simple to make! And don’t forget that BIG pink bow and a lovely heartfelt card! 🙂
When my husband and I got engaged I decided to start writing a journal JUST for him! This journal is comprised of letters that I write to him. Sometimes I show him and sometimes I don’t. It will be kind of fun when he finds the letters some day that I wrote a few years ago but never showed him!
But when something great happens in our life, something not so great, or he does something amazing I wrote in the journal expressing my love for him!
I understand this is a wine bottle, but I don’t drink wine! BUT I still think this is SUPER cute So I would think it was adorable (and yummy) if my hubs would create some sort of bottle into a pineapple like this! SO yum and SO cute! Your wifey (or girlfriend) would love it!
Okay, this is such a clever and unique gift! In this project you would need five gifts. Each gift would be in relation to one of the senses to show that you care about your spouse more then anything and care about ALL aspects of them!
Sight: Book, Magazine or Movie
Sound: a Mix tape (hahaha when’s the last time you heard a mix tape?). Maybe you could get her a CD that she likes!
Smell: A nice candle!
Touch: Fuzzy socks or clothes.
This is such a cute and creative way to show your significant other that you care about them!
This gift is perfect, because it a gift that never loses it’s value! You can make a really cute board that says, “I love you because” and then leave a blank space. You can tell your wife you would like to add nice things in the space provided. Sometimes in the chaos of life you forget to take to the time to tell your spouse “WHY” you love them!
Well, my dear men, I hope that you really enjoyed this list and I hope that if gave you some great ideas! I would love to see your creative gift ideas that you have given your women (on this list or not)
I know it is still about a month away, but it is better start thinking about it sooner rather the later!
I am hoping that you enjoyed these Valentines Gifts For Her list!
