Yes, I am fully aware that it is mid-October. But before you know it that BIG FAT turkey is going to want to make it’s way onto our tables. That’s right! The day for giving Thanks! But are you ready for this wonderful holiday with your Thanksgiving Decor? Well of course not…because it’s mid-October (hehe) but I would love to make sure that you are prepared when that time comes! So I have gathered up some cute and simple Thanksgiving Decor ideas in order to inspire you for this coming up Holiday! But wait! Alright, do you already feel inspired?! Well I hope you do! But don’t worry! The inspiration is not over yet! I would like to now share some Thanksgiving specific decor! Gobble Gobble!
First things first…when in doubt stick to the very classic “Fall” colors. Decorate with oranges, reds, yellows and browns. Steer clear of bright and “spring colors” such as purple, pink and blues.
Thanksgiving is ALL about giving “Thanks” for what we have all been blessed with. We have all been blessed wit some much (I know I have). I have been blessed with an amazing (and sexy) husband and two beautiful little boys! I have a house, two working vehicles and my hubby has a great job! But SOMETIMES (a lot more than I would care to admit) I get caught up in what MORE I could have instead of just being grateful. Thanksgiving is the perfect day that resets me and helps me remember to Give Thanks. SOOO….when planning my thanksgiving decor. I know how important it is to add a “Thanks” sign into my decor.
Turkey’s “Gobble Gobble”
Okay, what would the day be like without our fat friend? If you don’t have turkey for Thanksgiving what do you eat? what’s your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I would LOVE to know! Anyways, a great way to decorate for the big day would be to use a turkey in your decor.
Thanksgiving is nestled right in the middle of such a beautiful season. Our dear Fall season. So why not decorate like you would for the Fall? I am talking leaves, pine cones and the whole works! Who said you can’t have pumpkins as your decor?
