What? October? I still can’t even believe that it is October already! I really do feel like Summer just started and I was getting my kids prepped for all of our Summer outings and now I am planning their Halloween costumes. It just amazes me how quickly life goes by and how quickly these kiddos of mine are growing up. woahh…sorry for that tangent. Okay….back to the post. The last few posts I have been diving into the amazing world of Fall and Halloween Mantle and Porch decorating. My most recent post was Halloween porches.
I would love for you to check out that post and tell me what your most favorite Halloween Porch is! And please send me your Halloween Porches.
Today’s post is all about Fall Decorating around the home! I would love you help you with some adorable ideas on how to decorate for this Fall and how to create a beautiful home that brings in this beautiful season!
One of my favorite Fall decorating ideas are the use of pumpkins! Pumpkins can be such a cute, simple and cheap (depending on size) way to bring some adroable Fall fever into your home.
And there are even creative talented people out there that are painting pumpkins!
I think I am going to start walking around my neighborhood and start asking people if I can steal some of their pretty pinecones, because who knew they were such an easy and adorable Fall decorative piece?!
Do you know what is one of the cutest new trend (well…maybe it’s not new and I am just behind but) lanterns! I think lanterns are just SO cute and there are endless of possibilities. Just throw some of the little pumpkins, a candle and some pine cones in the lantern and you get an adorable Fall decoration!
Okay, I am still super biter about this one. My husband won’t let me get hay bales! How dare him?! 😉 Well…so I am not going to get haybales for this Fall, but try to stop me from buying them when they are 50% off! I am so totally going to buy them for my Fall decor next year! There is so much we can do with these things to make such an adorable and happy space. These can be used on the curb, in the entry way, near the fireplace, on the table (as a center piece). Oh my gosh Hubby why won’t you let me get them!!!
I am super upset about this! Why don’t people sell cornstalks for me to purchase to put in my home as home decoration? Like where is people’s sense of style 😉 Really though….cornstalks are SO cute and you can do so much with them! They aren’t just made for the porch! These would be awesome in your entry way!
One of the simplest decoration pieces for your Fall theme is a scarecrow. It doesn’t have to be a traditional scarecrow. It can be made out of wood or even drawn on a mason jar.
And lastly! You should absolutely add leaves to your decor! If you don’t want to have real leave they also have amazing options at the dollar store!
