I am a busy mother and wife! I take care of my two year old and 10 month old. I bathe them, feed them, entertain them, teach them and love them. I also make sure to take them somewhere everyday whether it be to the store, the park or to a fun adventure (like the Children’s museum). I take care of all of the household chores (such as dishes, laundry and cleaning) and the yard work. I also cook, do all the home repairs, the home decorating and I am responsible for fixing up the home. I take surveys for money and test websites for money. On top of all of this I also am also a full time blogger and a I just started a new business where I am selling home decor and furniture in a local store. You could say I am pretty busy. Okay…you could say I am VERY busy! I LOVE being busy though! I love having so many things to do and I feel like I am actually making a difference in this world. I am a stay-at-home mom but I am also constantly trying to make money and make an impact on my family. The ONLY thing that keeps me sane (besides my husband) is lists and schedules. One important schedule that I have is my blogging schedule. There is SO many things to do in a week to stay on top of blogging, but it isn’t that bad if you look at blogging as a daily check list! So I would like to share with you what I do on a daily basis!
So this is my schedule for my daily routine:
I wake up and check my phone notifications: I make sure that I respond to Facebook comments and messages (from my business Facebook). I then check my email and take care of each email. I take an action to each email. I either delete, put it into a folder, I block or report as Spam.
As soon as I get another minute to work on my blog I check on my website to check comments, add plug-ins and make sure my website is running smoothly.
I then add my most current share my current blog posts to my Facebook blog groups and comment on other people’s groups.
I then go through my Facebook feed and share any blog posts that I like from other blog posts and comment on their posts.
In the evening when the children are asleep I spend about 20 minutes pinning and saving Pinterest pins from other bloggers. I do have BoardBooster that is scheduled to re-pin pins, but I want to stay current on the new home decor and design styles. I also love getting new ideas.
For about 15 minutes a day (whenever I have time) I am active on Instagram: I like, comment and follow.
For about 15 minutes a day (whenever I have time) I am active on Twitter. Look through tweets, follow new people, comment and retweet.
Sunday: My weekly blog post will automatically post (since I schedule it every week on Monday). This blog post is in relation to my niche. I will then share it to all of my social media accounts.
Monday: Write post for Sunday’s Post.
Tuesday: Do project for a blog post. I find new Facebook blogs to “like” and I comment on their pages. I tell them what I like about their page and that they have a new follower.
Wednesday: My weekly blog post will automatically post: I can then share it to all of my social media accounts.
Thursday: Write business blog post for the next week.
Friday: By using Hootsuite I schedule my social media posts for the week: I schedule 2 posts (usually pictures) each day on Facebook and one picture on Instagram and a updated Tweet.
Saturday: Projects for Posts. I send out a Newsletter for my email subscribers
I have a crazy busy life. I wish I could spend more time on my blog, but there isn’t enough hours in the day! I have so many other responsibilities. Having this schedule, however, allows me the opportunity to stay a little focused and organized.
