Easter Decorating for Cheap!
My sister-in-law is well…amazing! She is one of those women that solves world hunger and you’re just proud of yourself for keeping the kids alive AND taking a shower all in one day! And on top of her being amazing she is also one of the most crafty people that I know. She’s the lady that can copy the Pinterest crafts…I am more of the Pinterest fail type of gal. Chelsea is not only crafty, but she is also doing it on the cheap. Today she sent me her newest craft that she created easily (even I could do it) and mostly from the dollar store! Now who doesn’t like the dollar store?
What you’ll need! 🙂
Rafia (the hay looking string)
Moss (from the craft store)
(Easter themed object: Chelsea used a bunny)
First you’ll want to cut the moss. You will want to measure around the Mason Jar and the width will be approximately 1 inch (or whatever you’d prefer).
Next you will use a hot glue gun to glue the moss around the very bottom of the jar.
At this point you can tie Rafia ( Or string of your choosing) around the neck of the Mason Jar.
That’s It! And yes…the little bunny was found at the dollar store too! Such a cute Easter decoration and it was EASY too!
Another option would be to tie the Rafia just above the moss and throw some flowers into the jar!
A different look, but equally as adorable!
And that’s all! You did it! You are already decorating for Spring!
